Cover Up

HI,

I have been using Roxio for several years with my vacation movies to make DVD's. This is something I have never ran into. I have Creator 2011 Pro. A video file I have of a building has some "bad words" painted on the building. The video file scans past the building. Is there a way to blur out these words and have the blur cover the "bad words" while it scans past the building? Thanks.

If it is moving much, then there is no good way of doing that except with multiple overlays to cover the words as they move. I would think that that would draw more attention then if the words were not covered. You are documenting your vacation and they were there (unfortunately). You may have to live with it or just cut out that short section of video.

Yes it is moving across the screen. Too bad, no good fix. Maybe next upgrade of Roxio. Just to mention, I think this version (pro 2011) is the best one yet. I like how it works.

Like Steve said, it's improbable but one thing you could try is adding a semi-transparent overlay about the same size of the offending words and then change its Motion Start Path to Fly > Slide From Left and its Motion End Path to Fly > Slide to Right (or vice versa if your camera pans in the opposite direction. Might work depending on how fast the pan is.
