Runtime Error

I installed the program without a problem, but when I went to use it, it gives me runtime errors every time I try to do anything within the program. I followed the instructions to a T, have a working VCR (tested it before I set it all up) and a new computer to use it on. Also, I am running it as administrator but getting the same results.

My computer is a Dell Inspiron 15R with a Intet Core i5 CPU, 4G RAM, 64-bit Windows 7 OS, and 500GB Hard Drive.

 

The version of the software is 1.1.125, Build 111B25F.

 

If there is any other information that you need, let me know! Thank so much in advance. I am trying to do this for my mother and would like to have it done by the 7th.

According to the pinned post, at the top of this forum, your version is not compatible with Win 7.

Bruce is correct, the 1.1.125 Version will not work in Win7, actually it should not even install…

 

The device is still good and should be usable with the Dell OEM 10.3 DE that should have come with your Laptop.

 

You won’t have any Edit capability with MyDVD Express, but Capture should work:

 

 

Looking ahead, the Roxio Video Capture USB device will work with the Creator 2011 Suite. So you could upgrade to the full 2011 Suite and be able to use your original device
