Dvdit Pro Hd 6.4 Upgrade Available?

Question

I own 6.3 and it has issues on my Windows 7 Ultimate x64 machine. I have seen people mentioning 6.4 but can't seem to find an upgrade, patch etc to raise my copy to that level. When I go to the support links for DVDit i get bounced to a sonic page that talks about the professional products but nothing really about DVDit pro. Any help would be appreciated.

So,I inquired to Roxio support about getting the upgrade to version 6.4 for my product (which is version 6.3) figuring it would be a simple matter of getting a download link and upgrading. I was told that there is no upgrade to 6.4 and that I would have to purchase it.

Seriously purchase the product again to get a .1 dot revision of the program. Thank you but no thank you. I will stop using the product and tell everyone I know to never buy Roxio products. Talk about poor customer relations, apparently Roxio is doing well enough that they don't need my money anymore. Whatever so be it.

After reviewing your notes, I understand that you are looking for the update of your DVDit6 Pro HD into version 6.4 to be install as a patch into your windows 7 computer. In regards to your concern DVDit6 Pro HD version 6.4 cannot be downloaded as a patch instead you need to purchase it as a standalone installer.

 

Also there is no guarantee that DVDit6 Pro HD features will work on a windows 7 computer since it only support windows XP and windows Vista. Please see the link below for DVDit6 Pro HD System Requirements.

Is there a newer build?

I looked at the article and it does not apply to my case. In my case the program crashes when it tries to transcode the video to make a DVD or a DVD image, or a DVD volume.

 

I have uninstalled the product, and cleaned out my registry then performed a clean install using the no signed driver boot option for Windows 7 64 bit. I have tried running the program in compatibility mode for WIndows XP, I have tried running it as administrator. I have made sure to have any unnecessary codecs removed. Still it crashes every time. I am rather disappointed in this product.

Every time I try to create a disc of image file the program crashes. I have tried running it in compatibility mode, I have tried as administrator, I have made sure that all my underlying apps are up to date. I have seen that other people on the forums said that there was an update to bring the program up to version 6.4 and that it solved their issues. I was hoping to get that patch to see if it helps my issues. Attached is a screenshot of what happens

Trying to find the update to 6.4 for DVDit Pro HD. I'm having issues with it on my machine and am hoping it will fix the issue.

Was just informed by Customer Service that I cannot get an upgrade to 6.4 that I in fact have to purchase the product again to go from 6.3 to 6.4. Roxio has just lost a customer. I will also recommend to anyone that asks that they stay away from Roxio products because of what I see as bad customer service.

I purchased, downloaded, and backed up 6.4 last year. However, my backup dvd is now scratched and unreadable! After contacting customer care, I would need to purchase another full version as they won't allow re-downloads after 30 days. No exceptions. Does any good soul here have the zipped version 64B16A on hand that they could send to me? I would greatly appreciate it!
