Unsuccessful 3D After Many Attempts!

I hate to say it but I'm about to give up on Roxio 2011 Creator.

I've been trying repeatedly to convert 2D mpeg2 files into 3D mpeg files, and each attempt brings me no joy. By one conversion method and after a successful conversion I consistently get: "New project operation failed. Media file is not editable."

In trying to go through Advanced Video Wave Editor and after the conversion I get: "The file(s) you selected contain missing or invalid video streams, and have not been added."

I'm using standard mpeg2 files in the conversion attempts but each time, before I can save or burn, I get either of the above error messages (depending on which conversion method I use).

Has anybody else experienced this?

If you know a fix or resolution to this problem please let me know.

Thank you one and all for any help that you may offer!

Clearly there is something amiss with your Source files???

How about some details on them :glare:

Also take one, as a 2D project into VideoWave and use the Export As. Choose either 'Same As Original' or a similar format for the test file output.

Then try the test file in a New 3D Project...

Similar test, use one of the included sample MS WMV files.

Let us know.
