Using composite jacks to USB port adapter, I have been capturing VHS data with Roxio software. I have the options of saving that data as WMV, MPEG2 or MPEG4 files and in different frame sizes and speeds.
1.640x480 at 29.97 as been my default, but since the source video is already on standard VHS tape, and I want to avoid interpolation, do I even have any other options, like 30 fps, instead?
2. What is the best codec WMV, MPEG2 or MPEG4 for archival purposes(meaning the least additional compression)?
3. What is the best codec for playback on a DVD through a Computer and/or on a TV?
