Question

Previous version,Easy CD Creator 5 Platinum. Recently purchased Easy Cd Creator, version 10. My problem is I am unable to hear music (tape) being played through computer. Using an RCA jack (both ends) from my

Panasonic tape player to sound card on back of Computer. When the RCA jack is plugged into the Tape Player, head phone jack there is no sound coming from the Tape Player, which is normal and correct. Previous version of Easy CD Creator 5, I was able to, through Spin Doctor, set up my computer, i.e., "Line In" so that I could hear the sound (music) through my computer speakers. I have read the entire HELP Instructions and tried everything possible but still unable to hear sound coming from the computer speakers? Without the sound I am unable to start and stop music tracks, as necessary, to record, etc.

If anyone can assist me with this concern I would be very greatful.

Sincerely,

Winston

The first thing you have to do is to be very specific on what you bought. As far as I can tell, there is no Easy CD Creator 10. Here are the more recent software offerings.

Is this what you bought? Where did you get it?

You would connect the same way you did in Version 5....out of your Line Out of your tape player into the Line In on your sound card.

It may not be a matter of the Roxio software but a matter of the OS that you're now using.

Why did you change software?Did you get a new computer? If so then that may be the answer.

Hearing sound when you are recording is more a function of your OS and hardware than the software.
