Videowave Signature Error At The Final Step

Hi, I would really appreciate some guidance on this problem. I am using 2011 Creator and am running Windows XP SP3. When I try to Burn my Standard DVD project, at the very last "Complete" step I get a VidoeWave Signature error without any specific error codes. here is a snapshot of the error:

You did not say which one of all the programs in the Suite you are using???

 

Wild Guess, MyDVD...

 

Try it set to, Image File rather than disc.

 

Supply the missing detials and tell us what happens.

Thanks for responding Jim. Yes I was using MyDVD. The problem is very intermittent. It worked once and created the DVD, and the next time it didn't. Once I create the Image file, how do I burn it on the bland DVD?

I suppose you mean to use the "Burn Disc Image" feature from the main page to create the DVD from the image file. Even if this works, it seems like an extra unnecessary step though. Will give that a try and will let you know the results.

Most of us use this method everytime we burn, so you would be in good company

I guess I'm in good company then. It worked. Still very strange that burning a project directly to a DVD doesn't alway work. Thanks for tip Jim. Much appreciated.

When rendering and burning to disc all it takes is one 'burp' along the way to wreck your entire burn.

 

I do it with test projects to RW media, but when it comes to the real thing... File (ISO) or Folders is the only way to go!!!
