Creating Slideshow

Am trying to start a slide show in Roxio 2010 - after using the icon the center of screen spins - the slide show assistant seems to be open but I'm not able to get to the photos. Have reinstalled with virus protection off. Using PC windows - any thoughts?

The program to use for creating slideshows is Videowave (Edit video - advanced). The assistants are very limited in their features and options.

 

What do you mean by "I'm not able to get to the photos"? You have to give more details then "it doesn't work".

I prefer VideoWave too, but what happens when you click on Add Photos?

Am sorry I didn't give more info - when Roxio Creator 2010 has opened _ click on create a slideshow expecting to see the following according to the PDF tutorial....however - there is a spiral graphic that showes in the center of screen after clicking create slideshow and the following screen never appears that will allow me to begin adding photos....

 

1. Open the Slideshow Assistant. Click on the Photo Tab and choose "Create Slideshows.”

2. Add your photos. The 1st step is to bring in

the photos that you want to use in your show.

Click the Add Photos button and choose your

pictures from the browser.

OK rick, that is 'busy' marker that Roxio picked -

 

Of course the Program is supposed to start and run

 

For now, try VideoWave (Video/Movies tab, Edit Video-Advanced). It is a different program but I just want to see if it starts and runs OK.

Jim - thanks - just tried to do that and getting "error message - no permissions to launch program" uh - oh ;0(
