Dll Error

Everytime I try to install my Easy CD & DVD Burning software, I get a "Could Not Load F:\DIRECTX_NOV07\dxhelper.dll" then it says the installation was interrupted. When I explored the installation CD, the .dll file is there but it says the file size has 0 bytes. How can I fix this problem and is there a way I can replace the .dll file with a working one?

Have you shut down the anti-virus when installing?

The thing is that I don't have an Anti-Virus on my computer at the moment. Is me not having an Anti-Virus causing the problem?
