Refund Problems

Though I've tried several ways, I can't get a refund from Roxio for Creator 2011 since I paid with Paypal.

 

I emailed retrospect_cs@emc.com<retrospect_cs@emc.com> with the appropriate forms, but heard NOTHING!

 

Then I checked the website, clicked on the refund option, and kept getting ORDER NOT FOUND.

 

I've had 5 cases opened somehow by somebody at Roxio and they keep skirting the issue of REFUND... I've gotten advice on how to redownload (I removed the software before requesting a refund), how to use the website that refuses my valid, documented order number, and a total of 5 different people have replied!

 

The last one even said "Glad you got your refund" and,of course, I haven't or I wouldn't be writing this long epistle!

 

I think it's because I paid with PayPal... one of the options on the refund screen asks for last 5 characters of my credit card, which I did not use when paying via PayPal.

 

I was disappointed with the software which has a 'refund in 30 day' policy, but even more disappointed with NO REFUND?!

Hey, I thinnk I just got someone who got it solved!!

 

They emailed me a NEW special password and it SEEMED to work....

 

Stay tuned... I'll check Paypal account "during the next 5-7 business days." (Funny, I paid IMMEDIATELY via PayPal when I purchased it?!)

 

Oh, well, it's finally heading the right direction...

Sorry you were not happy with the software, it's not a real simple software to quickly learn to use. But it's really powerful and can do many things. It just takes some trials to find how to use it.

But I do hope you do get your money back. When I bought my copy at Best Buy they told me if you don't like it just return it for a full refund. Hey it took me a while to get it working but I never thought of returning it.

I have reviewed your tickets and indeed seem to be on track. Refunds always take a little longer.
