Tom77723
Hi: In the past I have used my software to burn DVD's of my home video's. I spent a dozen hours creating a video using DVD builder. I pressed the BURN button and as usual added the required settings. I get a message that Roxio does not detect a recorder (words to that effect). I have SONY DVD RW recorders on both systems. Appreciate and assist thatyou might offer. Thanks, Tom

Tom77723
You're welcome. Hi:Have to report that all did not go well. I got through the encoding ok. went into the "Burn Disc Phase" toward the end. The "Phase program" quickly ran the blue progress bar to 100%. Then the "Disc Progress" bar got to 2% and stopped with time remaining = 13.01 Minutes. After a long wait the word "finished" appeared in the upper left of the box. The "track and files" under "Totals" had read "1" and "15" respectivly. Upon finishing the "Track and Files" under "Written" also showed "1" and "15" had been added. An error message appeared: "Errors were detected during the recording or on your new disc. I also read: E 80041930: Trackwriter error-Wait failed-(T7123). It also gave the message: The command did not finish during the time it should have taken. None of the suggested solutions worked. I tried the burn three times today and all three failed. Does any of this make sense to anyone out there? Tom
