After some use of MyDVD I've come to the conclusion it is both the best and worst dvd creator I've seen. It has tremendous capabilities for a non-professional dvd menu maker, better than any other product I've used, but has some downright silly flaws. To wit...
1) The inability to create custom menus from scratch
2) The inability to create menus with more than 6 buttons
3) The inability to see the Grid or change its grid size
4) The clumsy way objects snap to the Grid
5) The lack of a select object tool to drag a selection box around objects
6) The inability to move objects with the keyboard for greater control
7) Adding objects (such as text) to a menu resets button positioning
8) The inability to change backgrounds for all menus, not just current menu
9) The inability to change text style for all text in all menus, not just current text
a) The inability to change button styles for all buttons instead of all "home" or all "next" buttons
It's weird that a product with such great functionality would fall short on the details.
