Skipping/blank Sound On Burned Dvd

clvd13

Question

I read through the other posts but I have video & sound on the burned DVD. BUT there is a few things (I am not technology inclined so please use plain terms!)

1. Only thing I noticed is that the sound "skips" every so often... It is playing correctly from the TV but on the burned DVD, the sound stops or is ‘blank’ occassionally for a few seconds. Any suggestions for that?

2. I read in about post about using Verbatim ... is that a type/brand of DVD? If so, where can I find it - didn't see them @ Staples or HHgregg today.

3. I have the VCR2DVD version 1.1.124 (according to the 1st forum pictures)

Here's the info on the other computer I'm using.. if you need it

HP Pavilion a1630n (desktop)

Windows XP

AMD Athlon™ 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4600+

1.80 Ghz, 1.93 GB of RAM

Lightscribe DVD Super Multi Drive / CD Writer

Thnaks again for the suggestions!! :)

Please do not make duplicate posts, it just confuses everyone when answering.

Verbatim are a disc brand and Staples and almost every video store sells them. It is considered one of the better brands of DVD. What brand are you using?

How did you make the DVD? Did you use the Plug&Burn option, that is capture the video and burn directly to DVD? If yes, then that may be your problem. Most of us prefer to first capture the video to the hard drive and the burn the video to a DVD. That involves two separate steps.
