Archiving A Project

ScimitarGTC

Question

Easy VHS to DVD allows me to transfer from VHS, to edit with trim points and export to DVD as long as I do it all in one session. If I try and save to archive (which should also save the trim points according to the help menus) the software saves to Captured Videos, not Archive and it does not save the trim points so I have to start all over again. I also seem to be having problems saving the same bit of video but with a different name which I should also be able to do. I've raised a ticket with the tech support guys but does anyone out there have any ideas?

Regards,

Never gave it any thought... I'll play and see what I can do ;)

Later: Tried it and it worked as I expected it to… You are outputting an Edited File but there is no provision in 201B to save a ‘Project’…

I took a 2:48 clip and trimed it to 30 seconds:

Then did an Export to both Computer & Archive:

When the project is complete and I look at the locations where it is saved, I find 2, 30 sec. files:

The Trip Points are not "retained", however, they are Applied"...

The other 'trick' is to make sure you look where they are stored, not where you got them from ;)
