Video Capture Error And Video Burn Error

I am using the Easy VHS to DVD and have used it for about six months now. All of a sudden I am having a problem that says:

 

Video Capture Error:

Problem with burn engine

Error Code: last sate 17

Error Code: 2147418113

 

It freezes when I am capturing video and stops the capture. Then I get the errors above and it will not burn to the DVD.

Let's start with the fact that it has worked for so long and has suddenly stopped.

 

For starters, how much free space is left on the hard drive you are capturing on? When was the last time you defragged the drive? Have you done any recent software or operating systems or hardware updates?

 

We have not released any new patches recently for Easy VHS to DVD that would effect the burn engine, but you may want to do a check for updates via the program. If it doesn't find any updates, then you are fine.
