I'm running Roxio Creator 2010 Pro, with Service Pack 2 and the Video Capture Patch both installed, under 64-bit Windows 7 Professional. I seem to be unable to get video capture working although I have read the tutorials and many of the posts about problems on this forum. I began by trying to capture a YouTube video and then, when that didn't work, the Bus Stop video suggested in one of the posts here.
I first bring up Roxio's Capture and Convert window and select DVD under Choose Output. Next I start the video playing in Firefox (32-bit). I then click on the Web Video button under Add Source, and a Web Video window pops up with a message to "Launch your browser to start viewing and downloading web video". As I understand it, after a short time a frame of the Web video should show with "Loading . . ." and the grayed-out buttons at the bottom should allow me to select the video and capture it. But no matter how long I wait, nothing happens and I'm still viewing the "Launch your browser . . ." message. So what am I doing wrong here? Are there some settings in either Creator or Firefox which I need to change? Would IE work any better than Firefox? Is 64-bit Windows 7 the problem, although other Creator apps seem to work fine?

Thanks for any help with this.
