What Is Roxioplasma Folder?

Frejus

Question

My Easy CD DVD Burning, version 10.3, created a folder labeled ROXIOPLASMA in my Libraries/Videos folder (win7). I don't really want it there, but I don't know what it is. It contains two files, metadata.dat and plasmadata.dat. I don't remember what I was doing when these were created. Can anyone enlighten me what Plasma is? Thanx.

Simply Delete it!

The ONLY way that Folder is created is if you use “Create folder set” when you burn:

It is created along with the VIDEO_TS folder:

I am curious how you created a usable DVD Movie from there since Creator Classic will not…

Did you use Data Disc from the Home app?

Okay, thanx. Now I remember. This goes to my other post where I was trying to make a copy of a store made video dvd that strangely wasn't being read by Easy Burner modules except for Import. I did the import from the drive, and then I went to use MyDVD Express to create and burn a disc, . At that time, I checked create folder because I wanted to see what it was. It created a Video TS folder where I directed it to on my desktop, so I wasn't aware it would also create a plasma folder in Libraries/Videos. (I then found that the movie file I imported used AC3 audio, and so MyDVD Express was not the appropriate program to use). I have been working with my Roxio Easy Burning for about two months now, and I have not had a chance to try Creator Classic, which from what I can see deals with data disks unless I am mistaken. Thanks again for your helpful responses.
