Burning Dvd's From Tivo Files

When I try to burn a Tivo file using Creator 2011 I get a messages saying that "The file I am trying to add is protected by Digital Rights Management and will not be added"

 

These are files that I have already transfered to my PC and play on my pc using the Media access code.

 

If they were protected by DRM then they would be able to be transfered.

 

Also they are the same files I used to burn in previous versions of Roxio creator.

Playing the file, in whatever program, and trying to bring it into a program that edits files, or burns files, are 2 different things.

Give us some more info on these files, their source and your agreement with the provider.

 

There may be a way to do it, but DRM is there to prevent unauthorized copies from being made.
