Using Toast Titanium 8.0.5 on an Intel Mac running 10.6.5. TiVo is a Series 3 HD . Using Toast infrequently only for TiVo transfer function.
Was successful for some time in transferring programs form TiVo to Mac with no issues other than not being able to transfer back to TiVo.
Haven't used for some time but recently attempted to transfer another program to mac and found TiVo Transfer program would not open when selected from the Extras pull down menu.
I could see the icon appear briefly in dock but quickly disappeared.
Updated the TiVo desktop application in System Preferences. Also verified that 8.0.5 was latest version. Still does not work. Also tried dragging TiVo transfer program directly from Toast application folder to dock. Although application was stayed visible in the dock, when I clicked on it nothing happened.
I was pleasantly surprised to have an option on my TiVo that allows me to see (finally) the shows that I had previously transferred to my mac. Was able to transfer one of these shows back to the TiVo.
Great news but of little help if unable to move new shows to the mac.
Do I have to plunk down some more cash and upgrade to Toast 10?
