Editing Iso Image

I'm trying to remove or modify the intro movie from an ISO image.

Any clue which VOB file it is?

Are background images VOB files?

What's the easiest way to view a VOB file?

Thanks

Ron

A vob file is a mpg2 file; it should open in Video Wave.

With the old software you have there is no good way of editing an ISO file. If you saved the project before you made the ISO file, then you can open and edit that.

Yeah, unfortunately the "My DVD" file for that project got lost somehow.

It's been a year at least and I thought I was done with the project!

Is there a way of just removing the intro movie from an ISO image?

I figured out which VOB it is.

(Videowave did not recognize a VOB file; maybe I missed an update)

Copy the DVD to your system drive. Set Windows folder options to show known file types. Change the extensions to mpg2. Open them in Video Wave. Edit as necessary.

I do not believe that EMC 10 has a early version of Video Copy and Convert, if so, you may be able to use that to edit the ISO file. I don't have it loaded but perhaps someone else can give you directions.

Videowave should have no problem with vob files. You can trye changing the extension on a vob file to mpg and then bring it into Videowave.

iso files cannot be edited with Roxio software.

Videowave10 handles .IFOs and .VOBs routinely, so you should be able to do it without renaming.

I've seen complaints that when you 'Add New Movie' in MyDVD10 and import from a DVD, you get only the movies and not the menus from the DVD. That might be just what you're looking for.
