Copy And Convert Crash

DaveMe

Question

I am trying to convert DVDs recorded on my home Recorded to MP4 to play on and IPod Touch.

This seems to work fine if I have recorded just one program to the DVD but if I have multiple programs on the DVD.

It either won't read the disk at all or if it can it crashes. Any advise how I can get help on this.

It's only one DVD and has 2 programs recorded onto from the TV.

Roxio crashes during the cacheing process. I only selected one of the movies.

The disk content is as follows I have no idea what this means:

2 x Folders

>>VIDEO_RM

VIDEO_RM.BUP

VIDEO_RM.DAT

VIDEO_RM

>>VIDEO_TS

VIDEO_TS.BUP

VIDEO_TS

VTS_01_0.BUP

I was under the impression you had two disc's, one with one program recorded, and one with two programs recorded so you could compare disc's?

Try extracting just these through My Computer to a new folder you make on your hard drive, select them, copy, paste in the new folder. Then try and load that folder in Video Copy and Convert or Videowave output, export as, to your MP4 file.

What is the structure of the two DVD's, open them in my computer and compare the two disc's?
