bobSa
I created a .mts file with a retail BD disc. I went into Toast 10, selected the MTS file, it showed 22GB but Toast can't find my external BD Drive - only my DVDRW drive built into the computer. I bought this; http://www.amazon.com/Asus-External-Blu-Ray-Writer-SBW-06C1S-U/dp/B00413PHKA/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1295997496&sr=8-7 Am I doing anything wrong? 0 mooblie
Power might be an issue. I see it uses TWO USB plugs? Are they both plugged in? Is there an auxiliary (wall-wart) type of PSU included? Is there a socket on the back for DC power?
0 bobSa
2USB ports. I was able to rip a BD just fine with it. No power cable was included. I'd have to see if there is a port on the back. Edited January 26, 2011 by bobSa
0 mooblie
Well, if you read a BD to rip it, it must be working...

Launch Apple System Profiler and check if it recognizes the Blu-ray drive and that it supports burning Blu-ray media. Toast should recognize the drive if it is seen as a disc writer by the OS.
