No Signal Displayed On Video Screen

Question

I have read through several of the forums on this subject and have not found any specifics steps which apply to this instance.

I have Roxio creator 11 packaged with the VHS to DVD software and and what came with it was the USB video capture adapter.

The system I am using is

HP Pavillion dv6 Notebook

Intel Dual processor CPU - 2.10 GHZ

4 GB RAM

OS - Win Vista SP2 (64 bit)

VHS to DVD Build 201B28A, c13

All cables plugged in...update drivers as well.

Please help.

Thanks

Your attached image shows you trying to capture from a commercial VHS tape. If that is true then there might be copy protection on the tape and you can't capture. That would be also illegal of course.

There has never been anything called Creator 11???

What is really called and where did it come from?

If you have Creator 2011 you don't even want to install the V2D software, it is a giant step backward!!!

Clear that up and tell us what you are hooking up and how.

It is 2011 ;-) but it also is the special edition that installs the v2d..That is what I used to try and copy the VHS tape from the VCR. I also tried video capture and no signal displayed as well.
