Roxio Creator 2011 Pro Having Issues After Installing Itunes

SthrnDixieCwgrl

Question

I installed Creator 2011 Pro on a system using Windows 7 64-bit and every time I use the Video Copy & Convert feature iTunes opens and no matter how many times I have uninstalled and reinstalled Creator 2011 iTunes opens when I use 2011. I have tried doing a clean uninstall of Roxio 2011. Then I restarted the system. Then I removed the registry entries. Then I uninstalled iTunes. Then Video Copy & Convert had no issues. Then I reinstalled iTunes. I opened Video Copy & Convert and iTunes opens. I am not running any emulated software since Windows is physically installed on the hard drive without using any type of virtual software. I have also upgraded an HP from Vista and did a clean install of Windows 7 and the same thing happens on it. That says right there that there is an issue with Roxio.

Roxio Creator 2011 needs a pristine environment to install correctly on a laptop. It also doesn't respond well to changes so be advised that OS reinstalls are in your future because you can't, ever, uninstall this software.

The problem is iTUNES! That app is well known for screwing with Windows default CD/DVD burners.

Just HOW many times does it take to get the nessage through to you

Your problem is NOT with Roxio - it's with APPLE

You are using a Macintosh, to run a Windows app needs an emulator (Macs run on a variant of BSD Unix) and Creator does NOT work well in an emulated OS

You are having a problem with iTunes

BOTH the above are down to Apple - not MS, not Roxio - APPLE

One thing you were asked and never answered - did you ever ask Apple just why THEIR program keeps opening?

That is a silly statement to make.

I have uninstalled C2011 several times (as well as other Roxio versions) for testing purposes and never once had a problem doing it or then re-installing. If you are having problems then the problems is because of some interference on your system.

You have 3 computers listed in your signature. On which one are you running C2011?
