DonKeare
I purchased Roxio's Easy LP to MP3 software and included hardware (switch takes in RCA input and converts analog input to USB output). I installed the software and hardware successfully, and then followed instructions in the Getting Started Guide. I opened the software, and clicked on Audio. The guide then said to click on Convert LPs and Tapes. There is no such choice to click on. An extensive search of Help for "LP", "Convert LPs", "LP to MP3", and several similar searches yielded not a single topic. I bought this package expressly to convert my LP collection to MP3 files. How is it possible that software whose title is "Easy LP to MP3" does not address this very issue? What am I missing?

DonKeare
Nope. I have a screen print of what my software looks like, but haven't been able to figure out how to paste it from the clipboard into this message. When I right click in the message text box, the Paste command is not highlighted. I am able to Paste from the clipboard into other applications. sknis
Is this what you bought (link) ? When? Where from? Did you get the capture device? What you have shown is the index to that tab. What do you see on the HOme page and what do you see if you click on "Easy Audio CD"
DonKeare
Is this what you bought (link) ? When? Where from? Did you get the capture device? What you have shown is the index to that tab. What do you see on the HOme page and what do you see if you click on "Easy Audio CD" Reply to Skins: Yes, I followed the link, and that is exactly what I bought. I bought directly from Roxio, and yes, I did get the capture device. You can see from the attached screen snip the difference between what the online tutorial says I should see and what I actually do see. On the left is the example from the tutorial, and on the right is what I see when I open the software which Roxio provided. If I click on "Easy Audio CD", I just get a screen from which I can select audio clips already on my PC to burn an audio CD. It has nothing at all to do with converting LPs to MP3 files. When I contacted Roxio customer support via EMAIL, they sent me a link to the online tutorial, with no further comments. That was NO help at all. cdanteek
What operating system and service packs are you running?
DonKeare
What operating system and service packs are you running? I am running Windows 7 Home Premium on my PC. I just purchased this PC a few weeks ago, and this is the operating system that came pre-installed on the PC. I have not installed any service packs since then, so I don't know which service pack I am running. At and rate, I fail to see how the operating system and/or service pack could affect what a specific software package displays. It seems clear (to me, at least) that the software delivered with my East LP to MP3 package is NOT the correct software. The software installed without any errors, by the way. There are posts that show a similar problem with C2010 and a corrupt msxml service. Have you ran any Windows Updates since you got the computer? When you installed Roxio's Easy LP to MP3 software was you antivirus/firewall software disabled? I would read the post below and send them the files. http://forums.support.roxio.com/topic/62690-getting-installation-log-files/
