I very much doubt it - Firefox and Chrome are browsers and are not DVD authoring suites, so comparing those with Creator 2009 is like comparing apples and bananas (they aren't even close)

 

I'd consider Media Creator 2011 much more than just a DVD authoring tool. It supports video formats for the web and small devices too. WebM would fit in nicely.

Just because Google comes up with something does not mean the whle world is going to fall in and worship it…

 

It is competing with the long established H.264 and that will be some pretty stiff competition.

 

My guess would be that Roxio will watch it and if it flops, they will be happy they didn’t bite on the Google hook :lol:
