Easy Vhs To Dvd And Sony Vegas..comaptible?

Hi! I just purchased, but have not yet opened Roxio easy VHS to DVD. I have a bunch of home VHS tapes that I want to put on DVD to preserve our family videos. I thought that I read somewhere that someone who had the Roxio and wanted to edit using Sony Vegas was unable to as Vegas wouldn't recognize the capture. I want to use Vegas 8 to edit the VHS video before burning to DVD. Does anyone know if there are any compatibility issues with this? I don't want to open the box only to find out that I can't use it. Thanks for any help or suggestions!!

Assuming you have the 201B version there can be no problem now or at any other time!

 

Capture creates an mpeg file to worldwide standards.

 

I doubt the device will work in Sony Vegas for capture purpose, but the files are and always have been interchangeable.
