Program Wont Start Correctly

george1429

Question

I originally loaded the EVTD program without the USB adapter because the instructions were lacking that bit of info. I removed EVTD and re-installed with USB connected. When I doubleclick the icon I initially get a red Roxio logo and then it is overwritten with a larger blue logo ea and that is it. It doesn't go anyplace but there. I am assuming that the program is not starting since I can do nothing with the screen. I have a Dell Vostro 1720 with XP Professional svc pack 3, 4 gig of ram, intel core duo cpu P8700 @ 2.53ghz and NVIDIA GeForce 9600 M GS. I can use some help.

What version # follow the link below. I know the program won't open but when did you buy it, from who, and what operating systems are listed on the box?

Have you put the disc in a DVD Drive and when the installer offers the repair option use it?

Generally speaking, you NEVER plug in a USB device before installing software unless specifically told to do so!!!!!

If you let XP install drivers for the device, it will never work...

But you haven't gotten far enough to need the device yet  Try cd's suggestion before we worry about using it ;)
