Where Did Tivo Transfer Go?

MauiMac

Question

Hi, I had to download the most recent update for Toast 10 (was getting the 'expired software key' notice despite having bought the full version) and after I installed it I notice the TiVo transfer application is no longer in the folder. I can't find it online, and one troubleshooting document just redirects me back to the software update page. In the menu within Toast, it is there but when selecting it, it says, "TiVo Transfer could not be opened because it could not be found."

Any help is much appreciated!

Toast should have found it when you selected it from the Extras menu. Did you place a checkmark next to the box asking about TiVo when you went through the set up assistant? You can repeat the setup assistant via the Help menu. If you still get the message you can open TiVo Transfer the first time by going into the Toast package. After it launches the first time the application appears in your Toast folder.

To launch it from the Toast package, control click on the Toast application and choose Show Package Contents. open the Resources folder and scroll until you find "TiVoTransfer.tar.gz". Double click on that to launch it.
