I captured my video from 8mm tapes to my computer with the capture device, but what fit on one 8mm wont fit on a dvd. It is a little over 9GB. Is there a way to get this to one dvd?

File size is pretty meaningless. It is the length in time of the video that is important. A standard 4.7GB DVD can hold 60 minutes of video using the best (HQ) quality setting. With a DL DVD you can get slightly less then 120 minutes on a DL DVD. If your video is longer then it has to be compressed and the higher the compression the lower the quality.

After capturing to your hard drive, you could split the video into different parts and burn each part to a DVD.
