Brendon
Hi Ralph, Please look at this: [1] Don't use "Burn Audio CDs" from the Home menu - that's a "simplified" Sonic application and won't do what you want. [2] Instead use "Create Music Disc Projects" which will run the Roxio Music Disc Creator [MDC] [3] In MDC, select an Audio CD project and start to create your CD. [4] Click on File [at top left] > Project Settings and you'll see the small Settings box. [5] You can change a number of things there, but the one you want it the checkbox for Add CD-text. [6] Click OK, then make sure you have your tracks and their data entered properly, and then click Burn under the Export heading. neorican1
Thank you Brandon, It works your answers were perfect especially your tip on MDC-- I have a few problems; I am switching from CREATOR # 5 , so lots of things are complicated-- Her is my next problem - I like to make cd compilations with transitions - like using something different than the standard 2 sec gap-- Like flow one song into another so that the gaps will vary-- I notice some symbols which I dont understand that could probably do this- If You can explain how to use this , then there should be someway to hear the arrangements before I burn. This is kind of tough to describe and so I hope that I am explaining my problem correctly= Thank you once again-----ralph Hi Ralph, Please look at this: [1] Don't use "Burn Audio CDs" from the Home menu - that's a "simplified" Sonic application and won't do what you want. Brendon
Hello Ralph, I don't use transitions, because I usually leave the tracks the way they came. However if you click on a symbol under the fade heading, you'll get the set of 4 symbols shown and mousing over each will bring up a label showing what the fade type is [none, quick, slow, normal]. Under the Transition heading is a symbol and if you click it you can choose between a gap, an overlap, or a crossfade. Next to that is a figure where you set the length of the overlap or gap. I think I've set mine here for a normal fade in and out, overlapping 5 seconds. The little speaker symbol says it's to play transition, but I haven't worked out how it works, and it gives me odd results. Perhaps one of the more audio oriented people here could help us on this one? Regards, Brendon
