If you're talking about playing the captured MPEG 2 video on a Mac, you can do that with VLC Media Player. If you want to play it with Apple's apps you need to purchase Apple's QuickTime MPEG 2 Playback Component. Another approach is to use Toast to make a video DVD so it can be played with DVD Player. Or you can choose Save as Disc Image, mount the disc image using the Mount It contextual menu in the Finder (or select it with the Image File setting in Toast's Copy window) and play with DVD Player.

 

Also, I think Toast 9 Basic includes the Toast Video Player application. You find it in the Extras menu of Toast 9. It can play MPEG 2 video.
