There is no such thing as “roxio 10”… There was an EMC 10 some years ago, and a Creator 2010 more recently.

Perhaps one of those is what you meant?

The adjustments you mention have been in Creator Products from around EMC 8 on…

Otherwise, I do not have a good feel for what this product has included in it. Maybe some of the other users will contribute ;)

There is no Creator 10, use the full name Creator 2010 or C2010.

Why are you posting in this forum if your have C2010? This forum is for users of program Roxio Video Lad HD - for users working with HD video. Are your working with that?

I now this is a dumb question but hear it is anyway. With video lab HD do you have to have a HD video camera or does it turn the video into HD. I am changing all my VHS tapes to DVD and I creator 10. Works okay bu would this be better?

Please confirm that you have Roxio Easy Media Creator 10 ( http://www.roxio.com/enu/products/creator/deluxe/overview.html ).

You would be a lot better off answering the questions asked of you, but the answer to your question about the software making the low quality VHS look as good as HD, the answer is NO.

I have done a couple of HD projects that start with low quality conversions…

The advantage, if going to Blu-ray is time! You can put 6:24 (25 GB) or up to 12:50 (50 GB) on a disc at EP quality which still exceeds a DVD made with HQ!

But, you cannot make it look any better

In fact, it looked so bad at full screen that I added it as an Overlay in VideoWave so that I could reduce its size.

You can burn HD onto a DVD disc as an AVCHD project but you get only slightly more Time on a DVD as you would using a Standard DVD project at HQ.

Drawback with AVCHD disc is that it is only viewable with a BD Player!

Even though 4 people have told you there is no such thing as creator 10 I guess youre not going to tell us what you currently have… :(

In VideoWave, look at the bar above the preview. That is what you can adjust with:

I have easy media creator 10 suite. Anything I can do to make the video's better quailty?

The best you can do is burn using this setting for normal DVD Video.

Gets you a hour to a single layer disc and about 2 hours for a Dual Layer DVD.
