Help Need Set Up Map For Connecting To Devices

i haven't downloaded [program to my laptop as my sons family network on my internet and they have pc connected to the internet i'm just running through the router. And it read like i should download the program on their mainframe,but my dvd and vcr are built into my tv and it was OLD and didn't have an s video jack . So i just rregistered the progrtam on my lap top. I really do appreciate your help..... :D i'm giving the dvd vcr tv to the grandkids so they can have the vhs's however there are a few old titles i'd like on dvd and my daughter in law wants to use the 3d program to show our art work on her web page. Sorry to much info huh. :o thanks again

Lets see if we can figure out what you trying to do.

 

You have a laptop (Name and model please including what O/S is on it)

 

You have installed the Roxio program on it...

 

You want to copy some VHS tapes onto DVD's

 

You want to know how to hook up the VCR to the Roxio USB device.

 

Also please clarify what you mean by this "my daughter in law wants to use the 3d program"

You have installed the Roxio program on it...no i just registered it but have not downloaded on to my sys.

You want to know how to hook up the VCR to the Roxio USB device.the vcr is built into my ole tv set but does have red,yellow,white cables on front of set.

i have

roxio creator sp.ed.2011 and it says you can upgrade movies and pix to 3d B) so have you figured out i know just enough to be dangerous,

Guess i'm a litttle behind haven't been on the puter since my ex ran off with a 20 year old he met on line 8 years ago...Anyway when i bought the roxio 2011 @ Costco there was a sheet that showed what cables came with prog. and where you needed to plug into your TV or VCR or whatever...LO:L hope this helps u help me

The "whatever" is the important thing. Do you have the program installed?

 

You mentioned VCR. is capturing from a VCR what you want to do? There are typically three output jacks from a VCR - yellow white and red. Yellow is the video, plug that into the yellow jack on the USB device, same thing with the red and white. Plug the USB devcie into a USB port - on the back of your computer is possible.

 

What computer do you have? That is very important. We can get along with just make and complete model number. What operating system are you using (Windows 7, Vista, Xp) and what servce packs?

 

I'm not sure why you mentioned TV connection.

 

Tell use what you want to do and we can provide more information. Remember that there are over 30 application in the suite. Some of which may seem redundant. Narrow it down a bit.
