Creator 2011 Vs Creator 2011 Pro?

gdmarshall

Question

Just bought Creator 2011 for creating and burning DVDs and it is working fine, but I am disappointed in the limited selection of menu types, at only six choices. Does Pro have a lot more menu types than the basic version? I checked out the product comparison page, but it didn't mention this point. I would buy the upgrade if there were more choices. Thanks.

Did you install the "content" file when you installed the program.

I bought it as a download, and took all the defaults; I assumed it would fully install all its features. But I do see that there is a file in in the folder that has content in its name so I installed it --- Wow! Over a hundred menu types! Thanks.

Note to Roxio software people: ya, know, it would be a really good idea to have the install script install everything for the default ...

Actually, in addition to a default full install, it would be better for Roxio to go back to letting customers select the items that they want to install, like they did (somewhat limited) before Sonic and Roxio merged 6 years ago. :angry2:

The download is broken into two or three downloads because of its size!

The bought Retail C2011 Pro Disc 1 the program and contents are on one disc and does a default full install. Disc 2 is Smartsound Sonicfire Pro and Soundsoap SE software and before you ask why is there a disc 2, some folks might not want to install Smartsound Sonicfire Pro and Soundsoap.
