Easy Vhs To Dvd Installation

Ikenoqueen

Question

I have completed all the preparation for installation of Roxio products EXCEPT for Updating firmware for CD/DVD burners.

I attempted to perform this but it state it does not recognize my DVD burner which is Liteon DVDRW model # SOHW-1633S but there are extra letters (BGS4) at the end of this model #. Can you tell me how to get those numbers off? The name is DR16BSOY.zip for the download.

Also, when I attempt to install Roxio Easy VHS to DVD, it gets about 3/4th of the way and then an error comes up that states YOU MUST INSTALL ROXIO CREATOR 2010 BEFORE INSTALLING THE CONTENTS.

I don't have Roxio Creator 2010, I have Roxio VHS to DVD. How do I fix this without having to purchase Roxio Creator 2010.

I have been almost a month trying to install this product and I would like to be able to make it work. Thanks, Donna

I wish you luck but so far Roxio keeps sending me emails with the same three suggestions. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you...I feel your frustration...

Don't click on the Topic Solved button, if you are the only one who posted in the thread, or your post disappears. It is a major fluke in the webboard software. I posted, and clicked on Topic Solved, under my post, so your post would become visible again.

I noticed that it said TOPIC SOLVED but I didn't know how it got there. What do I do to fix it as the Topic is NOT solved. Thanks, Donna
