roberto_kang
this was really annoying trouble with roxio creator 2011 pro. my pc system is built as follows. cpu; amd athlon2 x2 245 m/b; asus m4a785td-m evo ram; 2gb, 1gb dual channel windows7 pro 32bit i have found out very weird problem(bug?) in some burning softwares. when my recorder is running under AHCI, cd burning is alwarys unable to finish. but after i turn into IDE mode and burn any cd, it works well. UltraIso also shows this problem. it could start to burn no iso files under AHCI mode. I thought this was caused by a conflict between my amd motherboard and my recorder. BUT, the basic iso burning and normal file burning of windows7 work well even under AHCI mode!! finally, i put my recorder's sata cable on sata5 port and turn sata5 and 6 into IDE mode. now only my hdd on sata1 port is running under AHCI mode. of course, burning is no problem. I don't fully understand what is making such annoying problem. but roxio should solve this problem first if they want to go well with windows7. i didn't test this problem under intel motherboard system. I hope somebody check this problem and let me know the result.
