ssalter
I just purchased Toast 10 because it was supposed to be one of the best softwares for burning CD/DVD. I add a few .flac audio files to my list, click red Record button at bottom right and Toast crashes. Also tried burning a single .mp3 file. Same thing, a couple seconds after clicking Record, Toast crashes. OSX 10.5.8. Doesn't matter if I try .mp3 or .flac or any other type. Consistent crashes. Tried creating a disk image first and then tried to burn that. Image was created but Toast crashes when trying to burn. Any thoughts? Thanks, Steve
dallvr
Something similar happened to me yesterday. I created TiVo files of some shows that I recorded so that I could burn them to DVD and delete them from my TiVo. The transfer worked fine, the encoding process appeared to work fine, but about halfway through the burning Toast 10.0.8 crashed. Hoping that it was an anomaly, I restarted my Mac and tried again with the same results. Toast appeared to crash at about the same place in the burn process. I am running OS 10.6.6. Since the encoding took about three hours, the inability to burn the discs with Toast is a real annoyance. It appears that the problem is not due to my running Snow Leopard, since it happens to your system running Leopard.
