Error: Videowave Has Stopped Working

Taram

Question

I have a Dell Inspiron that is less then a month old. I bought Roxio Creator 2011 online. And downloaded it. It worked fine for a week and then it stopped working right. It will start, and convert. But when it goes into the burn sequence I get the dreaded error: Videowave has stopped working and must shut down." I don't understand. I went so far as to restore my laptop back to factory (how I got it). And updated it all over again. And Roxio was the first "other" program I installed. Same thing all over again.

Please help,

Tara

Many times issues like this are a result of a registry cleaner including those associated with anit-virus software. A good example is Norton 360. You must turn off that feature if you do have a registry cleaner. What anti-virus do you have? Are you using a registry cleaner?

Turn off your anti-virus; not just pause it. Put the program disc back into your drive and select repair.

Let us know if it works now.
