Roxio Creator 2011 Crash

GlennL

Question

After starting Roxio Creato 2011, the program crashes (Roxio Creator has stopped working, checking for resolution) error message and program shuts down. This happens when I try to run any application from the 2011 menu. I have updated to IE9 and have only since had a problem with Creator 2011. Is therean issue with compatability with IE9 (win 7 64 bit) and Roxio Creator 2011

IE 9 beta or Rc?

I will try to reload IE8 and see if the issue is resolved. If it does then there must be a compatability issue with IE9 and Creator 2011

I downloaded the IE9 RC when it came out and didn't find any issues with it and Roxio software.

We know IE 9 beta did cause problems.

What flavor were you running beta or RC release candidate?

Did you read the blue text below my reply?

I have uninstalled IE9, znd reinstalled IE8. I then reinstalled Creator 2011 and Creator 2011 crashes everytime I try to use any of its applications. It looks like IE9 was not the cause of the program crashing. Any suggestions >

It may well have been the problem and it screwed up your installation. Turn OFF your anti-virus, put the disc into your drive and select to repair.

Contacted customer support, and still no success. Last told that Creator2011 not compatible with win7 64 bit service pack 1. Personally think they are clutching at straws. Can anyone confirm weather they are running win7 64Bit Home premium Service Pack 1, and Creator 2011 successfully.

Thanks

What can you confirm?

"Last told that Creator2011 not compatible with win7 64 bit service pack 1."?

Or you installed in and encountered problems?

I answered the question that was asked "Can anyone confirm weather they are running win7 64Bit Home premium Service Pack 1, and Creator 2011 successfully."

Did you see a question in the other part of the post?
