Lightscribe One Timer

wildlandfftr

Question

I am trying to burn multiple labels on a LightSribe drive using Label Creator. After successfully burning one copy, additional copies produce a blank label. Only after restarting the PC (Windows XP) and reloading Label Creator can I burn one more copy at a time.

I have run the LightScribe diagnostics which reported no problems.

- Windows XP SP3

- NVIDIA GeForce 7900GTX Video Card

- 2.66 GHz Processor

- 3GB RAM

- 33GB (of 150GB) Hard drive space

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks Jim.

As recommended I completed the "Prep Steps" to the letter.

I tried the "Repair" option as well as totally re-intsalling the whole software suite. However, the issue still occurs.

I am aware that the LightScribe (label) side of the DVD can be re-written as I have done this to improve the quality of the final label image on some of my projects. This however has had no impact on the multiple labeling issue.

I only mentioned re-using LightScribes in case you thought they were ruined ;)

I cannot duplicate your problem…

I don’t know that it makes much difference, but I suggested you do a Repair, not an Install.

Your LightScribe Control Panel needs to be up to date, Version 1.18.21.1.

Other than that, you will need to take it up with Tech Support.
