Disc Closed After Burning Slideshow

TommyH72

Question

I recently burned a slideshow project and the program closed the disk after burning, and I therefore was unable to add the videos that I also wanted on the disk. I also wanted to add the original files as my older version did. What can I do to accomplish what I'd like too do? I am running under Windows 7 Professional (64).

You must use "Create DVD" to do what you want.

Please explain - "add original files" Do you mean the images? That is in Project settings as "Archive Photos" and only works if you are adding the project files to the DVD. It does not work if you conveet the slide show to video.

Make sur eyou chose a menu or if you want everythign to play one after another, to select ALL the files at one time in order (Windows select).

sknis,

Thanks for the reply, I guess I didn't explain thing very well.

What I wanted to do is add the original photos including those which were not in the slide show so that the recipients could view all the photos in there original size instead of the image which is a part of the slide show. Secondly, there are movies which were taken over the seven day period which I couldn't include.

I was under the impression that I did create a DVD when I burned the disk. How do I get all of the 3 projects, original images, slide show and the movies on one disk?? I download the Roxio manual but I haven't made much headway in getting to where I need to be to understand the procedure you are telling me I need to do. Could you tell where to look in the manual?

No DVD Movies are once and done! There is an editable format called a DVD+VR disc but it proved so incompatible with various Players that Roxio dropped it some years back...

RW might be a solution for you, you keep the Project on your PC's HDD and simply erase the DVD RW and reuse it... Of course you NEVER use them for anything permanent! They fade over time and become unusable!!!

A couple of ways to add Pictures or Data to DVD Movies ('Enhanced DVD' ;) ) are listed HERE.
