Layer Audio Files

Trying to help out a friend that is putting on a high school pageant. I want to take some different song clips and put them together so that they seamlessly transition from one clip to another without breaks between the clips. I have down loaded the clips to the music editor and have even figured out how to put the layers in place, what I can't figure out is how to save how I want this to sound. Can anyone please give me some simple directions. Thanks in advance for any help and suggestions.

If you are using Sound Editor, then you click on File, then on Export Tracks/Clips, and choose what type of sound file you want it to be, and where you want it saved.
