Folder Sizes

Question

Hi group!

Sorry if this isn't the right place. I didn't see anything listed as 'business'.

We received a new shipment of HP 8000 desktops with Windows 7 Enterprise.

And included was your Roxio Business Creator v10 software.

We would like to use your software only if we can get a few things ironed out.

How do we get your software to display sizes? Specifically folder sizes?

We burn a ton of data here, daily, and need to see sizes to determine whether or not we need DVD's or Dual Layer.

Also, we seem to be having trouble pinning the software to the start bar.

We can pin it. But when we close the app, it disappears from the start bar.

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks!

Your asking operating system questions not Roxio software questions.

Most folks here run the retail boxed version and minimum system requirement for that version exclude your Windows 7 Enterprise version.

Microsoft® 7 Home Premium, Professional or Ultimate (32- or 64-bit), Microsoft® Windows Vista™ SP2 (32- or 64-bit), Windows® XP SP3 (32-bit), Windows®XP SP2 (64-bit)

We don't run Windows 7 Enterprise or the OEM made for HP PC's " Roxio Business Creator v10 software"

Best bet would be to contact HP.

It is made by Roxio at the request of HP, and to specifications set by HP. It is sold to HP cheap because it is a cut-down version, and because HP undertake to provide all the support for it.

It is HP's software, provided by Roxio.

You most likely have a custom OEM based on Version 10.3. (Check that in Help About)

As the others have said, Technical Support actually comes from HP…

However, we are fellow users here and probably have more real world experience than they do  For example...

There are 2 Data Burning programs included, Data Disc and Creator Classic:

Note that Creator Classic does offer a Span Disc option. Don’t use it! It does work but I haven’t kept track of how many I have informed that part or all of their data is lost…

Both Data Programs respond to folders dragged over with Windows Explorer and both will show you how much has been loaded into the Project.

That should give you what you want ;)

If you have more specific questions, the best place to post would be, HERE, since it is an offshoot of EMC 10 and have no direct relation to the Creator 20xx line.
