just installed vhs to dvd, using composite cables with the vcr, don't know how to change anything in the setup......what do i do?

Give us some more details......what version of VHS to DVD do you have ( http://forums.support.roxio.com/topic/64988-what-version-do-i-have/ ).

What O/S are you running?

What application are you using in the program.......provide us (your fellow users) with as much info as you can.

All we have to go on is "don't know how to change anything in the setup".

I just bought Roxio easy VHS to DVD. Worked all weekend to get it to work. No luck.

I have version 201B23A

I cannot get a video signal.

I have a Dell XPS 8000

Intel ® core i7cpu 860@ 2.80 GHz

Ram 8.00GB

64 bit

Standard Enhanced PCI to USB Host Controller

Nvidia High Definition Audio

In device Manager it says it is an unknown device and that Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems (code 43)

I have gone to the 2 web pages below and neither of them have helped me.

Resolving common capture issues with the Roxio Video Capture USB device:

Getting Started Guide for Easy VHS to DVD:

Can anyone help me?

Thanks, Sue

What shows as a unknown device in device manager?

What operating system and service packs are you running.

What your device manager should look like with the USB Capture Device plugged in.
