Slideshow Crashes

CousinJack2

Question

When creating a slideshow from my pictures, the program crashes after I have added 15-20 photos plus some text. I get the error message that RoxLauncher has encountered an error, then my project disappears and returned to Roxio home screen. I have gone through several corrective measeures offered by Roxio Support, over the past two weeks, with no luck. Any ideas?

Just what were those 'several corrective measures'???

What are your PC Specs? (like I have in my signature block)

In the past two weeks, these are the measures recommended by Roxio support:

1. update Direct X

2. update Video Drivers

3. Disk cleanup

4. Disk defrag

5. Insure I am not using IE beta 9

6. Download and install MSXML.msi 4 SP3

7. Remove Roxio 2011 and reinstall after running disk cleanup

8. The latest step is for me to install a fresh, new copy of Windows!

Does this help ref my PC:

Have you checked you system hard drive for health/errors? How full is it? When did you last defrag? Are you having issues with other programs?

Try clearing your proxy files via Video Wave - Tools, options, clear proxy files.
