Multiple Cores Accessible?

gapd

Question

Wondering if there are any tricks to getting Toast 11 to use more than one core. Doing a video convert, the machine is using 25% of it's processing power. AVCHD to ProRes convert took 50 hours for 8 hours total footage.

(This forum leads me to believe that in the big picture this is just one of many problems currently for Toast 11.)

Quad Core 2.8, 8 Mb Ram, 2 TB RAID

I think it is using all cores. When I ran activity monitor and cpu usage pane, all were being utilized. Usage varied from 25-55% however. The problem is you can't get Toast to use a virtual cluster like you can with compressor (at least I can't figure out how to do it.)
