Tim Taylor
I'm trying to export video from a DVD that I created. The process seems straight forward: Drag DVD into toast (DVD video tab), select title, hit export and choose the format for the new file. Id like to export as h264. quicktime. The export begins, but never completes. Am I missing something?
tsantee
I no longer have Toast 7 on my Mac but I believe that was the first version to include a media browser. If so, use it to access the video on the DVD instead of dragging in the DVD to the main window. This is done by choosing DVD with the top button of the Media Browser. When something shows up in the browser window use the button just beneath the top button to access the titles on the disc. You should then see thumbnails of the titles. Select and drag whichever one(s) you want to the main window (with DVD video selected as the format). Toast then will extract the MPEG video from the DVD. When that is done continue with the conversion.
