Importing Mpg4S From Hard Drive To Editor

MrGary

Question

Hi, I am quite new to Creator 2010 but I did find something quite curious. I have a number of videos taken from my camera / cell phone / other people's cameras stored on my hard drive and I would like to edit them down, label and organize for output onto a DVD. The "Convert and Output" to the various sources function has no trouble browsing and locating the files in my Video Folder on my hard drive but the editor does not recognize any files in this folder even though the search setting is for all file formats. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks

Gary

XP Sp3?

Try using Edit Video -Advanced.

Supported input formats: o: AVI, DV, HDV, DV-AVI, MPEG-1/2/4, MPEG2-HD, DVD-Video, IFO/VOB, XviD, DVR-MS, TiVo, ASF, MOV, WMV, QuickTime, 3GP, MPEG2 Transport Stream, AVC (H.264), AVCHD

If the file type is not there, it will not see them. You can use a third part converter (free) to convert the files to one of the support types.
