Pause During Transfer

Is there a way to pause the transfer from tape to CD? For instance, there is a blank area or bad area on the tape. You want to halt the transfer so that you can advance the tape to a good section. In other instances, you need to switch the tape -- you started taping a vacation on one tape and then continue the same vacation taping on a new tape.

You cannot transfer from tape to a CD, only to a DVD.

You cannot stop the transfer to DVD and switch to another tape, it has to be one continuous operation. A burn cannot be interupted and later continued.

Most of us recommend first capturing to your hard drive, perhaps do some editing and then burn to DVD.
